Soft magnets play a vital role in the efficient energy conversion variety of important industries including wide-bandgap semiconductors, electric vehicles, aeronautics and aerospace, particularly at high temperatures. Improving efficiency modern power electronics electrical machines via advanced soft has potential to significantly contribute global savings, thereby leading reduction associated carbon footprint. Here, we present microstructural characterization property measurements on novel single-phase B2-ordered multi-principal element alloy (MPEA) Fe30Co40Mn15Al15 with magnetic properties suitable for high-temperature applications. The MPEA exhibits saturation magnetization 162 Am2 kg−1, Curie temperature 1081 K, low coercivity 114 A m−1, resistivity 230 µΩ cm.
